Alternating Current is seeking up to five poems, deadline is November 30th, 2010, for Poiesis Issue #5.
Send these via e-mail, include your contact information and add “Poetry Submission” in the subject line to:
alt.current@gmail.com
Alternating Current publishes a wide variety of poems so if you have a poem that often has trouble finding a place to go, this is where I’d recommend sending it.
Good luck to all who submit, please drop in tomorrow for more Poetry Tips…

Hey, thanks for the exposure and shout-out, lady! I want to expound, if that's okay, to let all the artists out there know that we want you, too!
We are working on a variety of projects that need new work all the time, and all work submitted gets considered for all projects, including, but not limited to, Poiesis. That includes serial books with chapters, short stories, artwork, photographs, poetry, flash fiction, articles, columns, book reviews, etc. There is no limit to what you can submit at this time, so ignore our usual 5 pieces rule. Rules are stupid.
You can also submit full manuscripts for consideration, but they need to be finalized and complete, which includes all the info you want in them, including cover art (if you have it), bios, dedications, intro, etc. (whatever is your idea of finalized), and proofread to the best of your ability, all included in one email or one package.
We prefer email, sent to alt.current@gmail.com, but snail mail is also accepted, sent to Alternating Current, PO Box 183, Palo Alto CA 94302 USA, if you must. If you have the means to email, please, for our sanity, do it.
Rock.
